Tell me what you drink and I’ll tell you who you are

Tell me what you drink and I’ll tell you who you are

Your favourite drink says a lot more about you than you think.

Many waiters already say it: tell me what you drink and I'll tell you who you are. And while they will not judge you for your choices, they will draw a few conclusions.

And you, what team are you on? What does your drink choice say about you? (think of this as an alcohol horoscope)

1. Beer

People who drink beer tend to be carefree and fun-loving. They enjoy socialising with friends and watching sport. They prefer to drink beer in their local pub, bar or at home after a hard day of work.

They don’t care what other people think of them and are usually confident and self-assured. They are social and like to meet new people to laugh, make memories and taste new beers!

2. Wine

Those who drink wine are often vibrant and talkative yet sophisticated, with refined tastes.

They are usually social and chatty, but it all depends on the type of wine they drink. Without a doubt, lovers of rosé and sparkling wine are the most social and fun-loving! Drinkers of red are more conservative and often fancy themselves as true wine connoisseurs. Finally, drinkers of white like to socialise with friends and enjoy a chilled glass of wine with a tasty meal.

Wine drinkers enjoy a fun social life, and they appreciate the good things in life.

3. Gin

Gin is en vogue, so people who drink gin are often social, fashionable and on-trend.

Gin drinkers are adventurous. They enjoy tasting new gins and gin cocktails but always revert back to a classic G&T (especially on a Friday night after a hard week at work).

They are cheerful, active and spontaneous. They are always up for a laugh, and love to go to new bars with friends, where they can party the night away!

4. Vodka

It is suspected that the majority of people who drink vodka don’t enjoy its taste, but rather the ease of mixing it with juices or carbonated drinks and enjoying a drink that "tastes good."

There are two well-defined opposites, or they are very quiet people who have been drinking vodka since their adolescence or people who become a bit rough partying.

Either way, they are independent people who have a young and fun mentality.

5. Rum

Rum was very popular before gin became fashionable. Most people mix it with Coke or pineapple juice for a refreshing drink.

Those who drink rum are usually cheerful, spontaneous and fun-loving. They enjoy going on vacation, partying with friends and entertaining others. They are warm people who like to sing, dance and share stories with others.

They always know how to differentiate a bad rum from a good one!

6. Whiskey

Whiskey is one of the most renowned spirits of all time. The reality is that you either love it or you hate it.

The people who drink whiskey straight are usually reserved and conservative, with traditional values. They are usually natural-born leaders and are not afraid of anything. Whiskey drinkers enjoy intense experiences and are very true to their principles.

Conversely, those who drink whiskey with a mixer are usually drinking it because it is the last spirit left at a party! 😂
